Q: What are Barbee Bucks?

A: Ask our pharmacy staff how you can earn 10 free Barbee Bucks for referring a new customer.

Q: How do I refill my prescriptions?

A: There are many ways to refill prescriptions at Barbee Pharmacy. You may bring your bottles in, call in your prescription number to a staff member or automated system, or you may order your prescription refills online through the "Online Refills" tab. You can find your prescription number on the top left of you prescription label on your bottle.

Q: How do I transfer my prescriptions?

A: If you want to transfer your prescriptions to our pharmacy, call and speak with one of the pharmacy staff members with the name and phone number of the previous pharmacy location and we will take care of the rest. If you want your prescription filled at another pharmacy, contact the pharmacy you would like to use and they will contact us for further information. Some restrictions may apply.

Q: What does it mean when my prescription is "Prior Authorization"?

A: When your prescription is prior authorization, it means the insurance company is requesting the doctors office to contact them to verify the details of the prescription. The prior authorization process typically takes 24-72 hours, if it is longer than 72 hours, we ask you to contact the doctors office.

Q: How can I get a printout of my prescription history?

A: To request a copy of your prescription history you can contact a pharmacy staff member, by calling or coming into our store. This only takes a few minutes.

Q: How do I know when my prescriptions are ready?

A: By insuring your contact information is up to date, you will receive an automated phone call when your prescriptions are ready for pick up. Please note, no personal information is provided in the call.  

Q: If I am unable to pick up my prescriptions, can I send someone else on my behalf?

A: In the event that your are unable to pick up your own prescriptions, you are able to send someone to pick them up for you. However, this person will need to verify personal information before we can release the prescriptions. We always suggest you calling ahead to notify us that someone else will be picking up your prescriptions. This is in accordance to our privacy policy.
